Hotel Information: Dating from the 1920s, an updated Grand Hyatt New York includes a vast marble lobby, gold columns, and mirrored ceiling. A waterfall cascades from the lobby's upper level to a marble fountain in the lower.
Insider tip: On Wednesdays and Fridays, Grand Central Terminal, which is connected to the hotel, offers free tours. This landmark was restored in the late 20th century to its original 1913 glory.
Grand Hyatt New York offers 1,311 guestrooms in a 25-story building. All rooms include Hyatt’s signature Grand Bed with Sealy Posturepedic pillowtop mattresses; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down comforters; decorative throws; and an array of European, roll, and throw pillows.
